About Adarsh Mahila Mahavidyalaya
Adarsh Mahila Mahavidyalaya, established in 1970, is a prestigious government-aided women's college located at Hansi Gate, Circular Road, Bhiwani, Haryana. Founded by eminent social reformers including Late Sh. B.D. Gupta (former Chief Minister of Haryana) and Late Sh. Bhagirathmal Buwaniwala, the institution was created to advance women's education in the region. The college is affiliated with Chaudhary Bansi Lal University (CBLU), Bhiwani and holds approvals from UGC under sections 2(f) and 2(B). It is accredited by NAAC and received ISO certification in 2022. The Government of Haryana honored it as the 'Best College' for its outstanding contributions to women's education.
Spread across a 10.39-acre green campus, the college offers comprehensive programs including B.A., B.Com, B.Sc., BCA (undergraduate) and M.A., M.Sc. (postgraduate) across Arts, Science, Commerce, and Computer Applications streams. The campus infrastructure includes 36 classrooms, 17 departmental rooms, 2 smart classrooms, a conference hall, auditorium, two open stages, a well-stocked library with over 41,000 books, computer labs, hostel facilities, gymnasium, sports grounds, and college bus services for student transportation.
The college provides multiple scholarship opportunities including PMS SC and BC Scholarships, Haryana State Merit Scholarships (?5,000 for first position, ?3,000 for second, ?2,000 for third), Central and State Government schemes for SC/ST/OBC students, merit-based incentives, and financial aid for economically disadvantaged students.
