About Bhagat Phool Singh Government Medical College
Bhagat Phool Singh Government Medical College for Women (BPS GMCW), Khanpur Kalan, Sonipat, Haryana, is India’s first government medical college exclusively for women. Founded in 2009, it is named after social reformer Bhagat Phool Singh and is part of the BPS Women University campus.
The college is affiliated with Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak, and approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
It offers:
MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery) – annual intake of 100 seats (through NEET UG)
MD/MS (Postgraduate programs) – multiple specializations (through NEET PG)
Super-specialty courses in select disciplines
The campus at Khanpur Kalan, Sonipat includes a 750-bed teaching hospital, advanced laboratories, central library, hostels, and sports facilities, ensuring strong clinical exposure and patient care.
