About B.K. Birla Institute of Engineering & Technology
The B.K. Birla Institute of Engineering & Technology (BKBIET), Pilani, founded in 2007, is part of the Shree Krishnarpan Charity Trust, which has a long legacy of promoting education in India. Located in Pilani, Rajasthan, the institute is approved by AICTE and affiliated with BTU, Bikaner.
BKBIET offers undergraduate (B.Tech) programs in disciplines such as Computer Science Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Civil Engineering, along with M.Tech programs in select specializations. Admissions are conducted through REAP/JEE Main counseling for B.Tech and GATE for M.Tech.
The 15-acre campus is equipped with modern classrooms, laboratories, computer centers, workshops, a central library, hostels, and sports facilities. BKBIET emphasizes industry-oriented education, research, and innovation, with collaborations such as MoUs with CSIR-CEERI Pilani and Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology & Education, Vietnam. The institute also partners with IIT Bombay’s Spoken Tutorial project to enhance digital learning.
