About Centre for Design Excellence (CODE)
The Centre for Design Excellence (CODE), Jaipur, founded in 2016, is a premier institute for design and architecture education under Vivekananda Global University (VGU). Established by the Rajasthan State Assembly Act, CODE has quickly gained recognition as one of India’s leading design schools. It is UGC-recognized, accredited with NAAC A+, and approved by statutory councils including AICTE, COA, PCI, ITPI, and AIU, ensuring academic credibility.
CODE offers undergraduate programs (B.Des, B.Arch, B.Plan), postgraduate programs (M.Des, M.Arch, M.Plan), and doctoral research (Ph.D.) in diverse fields such as Architecture, Interior Design, Fashion Design, Product Design, Graphic Design, and Urban Planning. Admissions are conducted through NATA, UCEED, CEED, and VGU entrance tests, depending on the program.
The campus at VGU, Jagatpura, Jaipur, features state-of-the-art design studios, digital labs, workshops, exhibition spaces, seminar halls, and a resource library.
