About Ellen College of Design (ECD)
The Ellen College of Design (ECD), Jaipur, founded in 2015, is one of Rajasthan’s leading design institutions. Affiliated with Rajasthan ILD Skills University (RISU), ECD is recognized by the Government of Rajasthan and focuses on skill-based, industry-oriented education in creative fields.
ECD offers undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and certificate programs in disciplines such as Fashion Design, Interior Design, Jewellery Design, Textile Design, and Graphic Design. The curriculum emphasizes practical training, workshops, internships, and live projects, ensuring students gain hands-on industry experience. Admissions are merit-based, with portfolio reviews and interviews forming part of the selection process.
The campus in Jaipur is equipped with design studios, computer labs, textile labs, jewellery workshops, a resource library, seminar halls, and exhibition spaces. Ellen College of Design also organizes fashion shows, design exhibitions, and industry seminars, giving students opportunities to showcase their creativity. Placement support is strong, with graduates working in fashion houses, interior firms, jewellery brands, and creative startups.
