About Engineering College Kota (ECK)
The Engineering College Kota (ECK), founded in 1981, is one of the oldest government engineering colleges in Rajasthan. Initially affiliated with the University of Rajasthan, it later became part of the Rajasthan Technical University (RTU), Kota, which was established in 2006. Approved by the AICTE, ECK has played a pivotal role in advancing technical education in the state.
ECK offers undergraduate (B.Tech), postgraduate (M.Tech), and doctoral (Ph.D.) programs in disciplines such as Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, and Information Technology. Admissions are conducted through REAP/JEE Main for B.Tech, GATE for M.Tech, and RTU entrance tests for Ph.D.
The campus at Rawatbhata Road, Kota, spans over 385 acres, featuring modern laboratories, computer centers, workshops, a central library, hostels, and sports facilities. The college emphasizes research, innovation, and industry collaborations, with strong placement records in IT, manufacturing, consulting, and public sector organizations.
