About Government Women Engineering College
Government Women Engineering College (GWEC), Ajmer, established in 2007 by the Government of Rajasthan, is the first women’s engineering college in the state dedicated to empowering women through quality technical education. The college is affiliated with the Rajasthan Technical University (RTU), Kota, and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
GWEC aims to promote women’s participation in science and technology by providing a supportive learning environment, industry-aligned curriculum, and opportunities for innovation and leadership. The institute offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in major engineering disciplines such as Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Electrical, Information Technology, and Artificial Intelligence.
The campus features modern laboratories, smart classrooms, a well-stocked library, and hostel facilities designed to ensure comfort and safety. Regular workshops, coding competitions, and training sessions are organized to enhance students’ technical and professional skills.
