About Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology
Established in 1973, the Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition (IHM Panipat) is the first catering college in Haryana, operating under the Department of Tourism, Government of Haryana. It is affiliated with the National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology (NCHMCT), Noida, and academically partnered with Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU).
The institute was founded to meet the growing demand for skilled professionals in hospitality and tourism. Over the years, it has become a leading center for hotel management education in North India, producing graduates who excel in both domestic and international hospitality sectors.
