About Institute of Hotel Management (IHM)
The Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), Jodhpur, founded in 1996, is one of the leading government-run hospitality institutes in Rajasthan. Established under the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, and affiliated with the National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology (NCHMCT), it provides industry-oriented education in hotel management and catering technology.
IHM Jodhpur offers the flagship B.Sc. in Hospitality & Hotel Administration (HHA), along with Diploma and Certificate courses in specialized areas such as Food Production, Bakery & Confectionery, Front Office Operations, Food & Beverage Service, and Housekeeping. Admissions to the B.Sc. program are conducted through the NCHM JEE, a national-level entrance exam.
The campus at Jodhpur is equipped with training kitchens, bakery units, front office labs, housekeeping labs, computer centers, a library, hostels, and seminar halls. Students gain practical exposure through industrial training, internships, and workshops, preparing them for careers in hotels, airlines, cruise lines, catering services, and tourism organizations.
