The J Watumull Global Hospital & Research Centre (GHRC) was founded in 1991 in the scenic hills near Mount Abu, Rajasthan, by the Brahma Kumaris spiritual organization with support from the J. Watumull family of Mumbai. Established as a charitable trust hospital, GHRC’s mission is to deliver world-class healthcare with compassion and affordability, ensuring that no patient is turned away due to financial constraints.
The hospital integrates modern medicine with complementary therapies such as naturopathy, yoga, and Ayurveda, making it unique in its holistic approach. It offers services in general medicine, surgery, cardiology, orthopedics, ophthalmology, dentistry, gynecology, pediatrics, and emergency care, along with specialized diagnostic and research facilities.
GHRC serves nearly 100,000 patients annually, including 54,000 tribal residents from 855 villages in the Sirohi district. Facilities include inpatient wards, outpatient clinics, diagnostic labs, operation theatres, and training centres. The hospital also runs community outreach programs, mobile clinics, and health education initiatives.
