About Jaipur Institute of Technology (JIT)
The Jaipur Institute of Technology (JIT), Jaipur, founded in 2010, is a private self-financed institution promoted by the Lotus Educational Society. It is approved by AICTE and affiliated with RTU Kota, ensuring its programs meet national standards for technical education.
JIT offers five undergraduate B.Tech programs in Computer Science Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering, along with four postgraduate M.Tech programs in Power Systems, Digital Communication, Computer Science, and Production Engineering. Admissions are conducted through the Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP), based on JEE Main scores and 10+2 merit.
The campus, spread across 13 acres, is located near Mahindra World City SEZ, about 15 km from Jaipur city. It features modern classrooms, advanced laboratories, computer centers, a digital library, seminar halls, and sports facilities. JIT also organizes cultural programs, technical fests, and industry tie-ups, ensuring holistic student development.
