About National Brain Research Centre
National Brain Research Centre (NBRC), Manesar, Gurugram, Haryana, is a premier government research institute focused exclusively on neuroscience. Founded in 1997, NBRC operates as an autonomous institute under the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India, and has the status of a Deemed University.
Its mandate is to advance brain research in health and disease, using multidisciplinary approaches such as neuroimaging, computational neuroscience, molecular biology, and cognitive neuroscience. NBRC also trains highly skilled researchers through Ph.D. and integrated neuroscience programs.
