About National Power Training Institute
National Power Training Institute (NPTI), Faridabad, established in 1965, is a premier national apex body for training in the power sector under the Ministry of Power, Government of India. Headquartered in Faridabad (Delhi-NCR region), NPTI is the only national-level organization in India dedicated exclusively to human resource development in the power and energy sector.
The institute offers a wide range of long-term and short-term programs including B.Tech in Power Engineering, Post Graduate Diploma in Thermal Power Plant Engineering, MBA in Power Management, and specialized training modules for engineers, managers, and executives. It also conducts customized training for power utilities, renewable energy companies, and international participants, making it a global hub for power sector education.
