Eligibility Criteria

  • To be eligible for the CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship 2025, applicants must meet the following conditions:
  • The applicant must be a girl student and the only child of her parents.
  • Must have scored 60% or above in the Class 10 CBSE Board Examination.
  • Must be studying in Class 11 or 12 in a CBSE-affiliated school.
  • The tuition fee should not exceed ₹1,500 per month for Class 10.
  • For NRI students, the maximum tuition fee limit is ₹6,000 per month.
  • Both Indian Nationals and NRI students are eligible to apply.
Scholarship Benefits

  • Selected candidates will receive ₹500 per month for two years (total ₹12,000).
  • The scholarship amount is transferred directly to the student’s bank account via ECS/NEFT.
  • Renewal of the scholarship is possible if the student continues studies in Class 12 and maintains satisfactory performance.

Affidavit on ₹50 stamp paper (attested by SDM or First-Class Magistrate) confirming single girl child status
Class 10 Mark Sheet (for new applicants)

Caste and Income Certificates (if applicable)
Admission proof for Class 11/12
Student ID card issued by school
Bank account details (linked with Aadhaar)

How to Apply Online

  • Students can apply or renew their scholarship through the CBSE scholarship portal by following these steps:
  • Visit the CBSE official website – www.cbse.gov.in
  • Click on “Scholarship Portal” and choose “New User Registration” or “Renewal.”
  • Read all instructions and click “Continue.”
  • Enter your Class 10 Roll Number and Date of Birth as per your mark sheet.
  • Download the undertaking form from the guidelines section.
  • Fill it, paste your photo, and get it attested by your school principal.
  • Prepare an affidavit as per the official format.
  • Scan both documents and upload them in PDF format (under 1 MB).
  • Submit the form and print the confirmation page for reference.
