The Common Admission Test (CAT) 2025, India’s premier MBA entrance exam, is scheduled for Sunday, November 30, 2025. Organized by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kozhikode, the exam will be held in computer-based mode with nearly 2.95 lakh candidates expected to appear.

Exam Schedule & Timings

The CAT 2025 will be conducted in three sessions:

• Slot 1: 8:30 AM – 10:30 AM
• Slot 2: 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM
• Slot 3: 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM

Candidates must report at least one hour before the exam begins. Entry gates will close 15 minutes prior to each session.

Essential Documents & Items to Carry

On exam day, candidates must bring:

• CAT 2025 Admit Card (printed copy)
• Valid Photo ID (Aadhaar, Passport, Driving License, Voter ID, etc.)
• Transparent water bottle (optional, if permitted)
• Authorized stationery (as per guidelines; rough sheets will be provided at the centre)
• Without the admit card and ID proof, entry will be denied.

Restricted Items

• Candidates are strictly prohibited from carrying:
• Electronic gadgets (mobile phones, calculators, smartwatches)
• Bags or wallets
• Jewellery or metallic items
• Food items
• Violations may lead to disqualification.

Exam Day Guidelines

• To ensure smooth conduct, IIM Kozhikode has issued the following instructions:
• Arrive early: Reach the centre well before reporting time.
• Follow dress code: Avoid clothes with large buttons, metallic accessories, or full sleeves.
• Verification process: Biometric and admit card checks will be mandatory.
• Stay calm: Use the rough sheets provided for calculations; submit them before leaving.
