The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially opened the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 registration window on its website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. Engineering and architecture aspirants planning to appear in the first session of the exam can now complete their online application form through the active registration link.
The last date to submit the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 application form is November 27, 2025. Candidates must fill the form, upload documents, and pay the application fee before the deadline. NTA has also released the exam schedule, shift timings, and fee details along with the registration announcement.

How to Apply for JEE Main 2026 Session 1
- Candidates can follow the steps below to complete the registration:

- Go to the Candidate Activity section and click “New Registration”
- Read the instructions and proceed
- Enter basic personal and academic details
- Fill in the JEE Main application form
- Upload required documents (photo, signature, certificates)

JEE Main 2026 Exam Timings (Session 1)
JEE Main 2026 will be held in two shifts every exam day:
For Paper 1, 2A, 2B – Duration: 3 Hours
Shift Timing
- Morning Shift 09:00 AM – 12:00 Noon
- Evening Shift 03:00 PM – 06:00 PM
- For Paper 2A & 2B – Duration: 3 Hours 30 Minutes
Shift Timing
- Morning Shift 09:00 AM – 12:30 PM
- Evening Shift 03:00 PM – 06:30 PM
Reporting Time:
- Morning: 7:00 AM – 8:30 AM
- Evening: 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM
Activities during this time include frisking, biometric verification, admit card checks, and seating.

Who Can Apply?
Candidates who have passed Class 12 or will appear in 2026 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects can apply for JEE Main 2026.
Students aiming for B.Arch or B.Planning must meet additional subject requirements.
