UGC NET December 2025 Application Correction Window Opens Soon – Check Dates, Fees, and Process

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially closed the UGC NET December 2025 registration process on November 7, 2025, at 11:50 PM. Candidates who successfully submitted their applications will soon be able to edit or correct their details through the UGC NET 2025 application correction window, which will remain open from November 10 to November 12, 2025.
The UGC NET December 2025 exam will be conducted from December 31, 2025, to January 7, 2026, in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode across multiple cities in India.

How to Make Corrections in the UGC NET Application Form
Candidates who need to make changes to their submitted forms can follow these steps once the correction link is activated:
- Visit the official website – ugcnet.nta.ac.in
- Log in using your Application Number and Password
- Click on ‘Application Correction’ link
- Read the on-screen instructions and proceed
- Edit the necessary details carefully
- Review changes before final submission
- Pay any additional applicable fee (if required)
- Download and print the updated confirmation page for reference

Who Can Apply for UGC NET December 2025?
To be eligible for the UGC NET exam:
Candidates must have secured at least 55% marks in their Master’s degree or equivalent from a UGC-recognized institution.
Candidates belonging to the OBC-NCL, SC, ST, PwD, and Third Gender categories are eligible with 50% marks.
Age Limit
Junior Research Fellowship (JRF): Not more than 30 years (age relaxation as per norms).
Assistant Professor / Ph.D. Admission: No upper age limit.
Documents Required During Registration or Correction
Valid ID proof (Aadhaar, Passport, Voter ID, or similar)
Master’s degree certificate or final-year marksheet
Recent passport-size photograph and signature (in JPG/JPEG format)
Category / EWS / PwD certificate (if applicable)
Valid email ID and mobile number
Preference for four examination cities
UGC NET December 2025 Exam Pattern
The exam will consist of two papers conducted together in a single session (3 hours total duration).
Paper I: Teaching and Research Aptitude
Paper II: Subject-specific questions (based on candidate’s post-graduation subject)
All questions will be objective-type multiple-choice, and there will be no negative marking.
