The Al-Falah University (AFU), situated in Faridabad, Haryana, was formally established in 2014 by the Al-Falah Charitable Trust. Its origins trace back to 1997, when the trust began operating professional colleges, later consolidated into a full-fledged university through the Haryana Legislative Assembly Act.
AFU is recognized by the UGC and offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs. Key faculties include Engineering & Technology, Medicine & Paramedical Sciences, Management, Law, Education, and Applied Sciences. The university runs the Al-Falah School of Medical Sciences & Research Centre, which offers MBBS and allied health programs, approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC). Other programs include B.Tech, M.Tech, B.Arch, BBA, MBA, B.Ed, LL.B, and Ph.D..The campus at Dhauj, Faridabad, spans urban facilities with hostels, central library, laboratories, medical hospital, and sports complexes. Admissions are conducted via national entrance exams (NEET, JEE Main, NATA, CLAT, etc.) and merit-based counseling.
