Anna University, located on Sardar Patel Road in Guindy, Chennai, is one of India’s most prestigious public state universities, established on 4 September 1978. Named after former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. N. Annadurai, it has grown into a leading institution for higher education in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, and Applied Sciences.
