Annamalai University, located in Annamalainagar, Cuddalore District of Tamil Nadu, is one of India’s largest public residential universities. It was established in 1929 by the visionary philanthropist Dr. Rajah Sir Annamalai Chettiar of Chettinad, with the mission of advancing higher education in South India. Over the decades, it has grown into a multidisciplinary institution offering a wide spectrum of academic programs.
The university is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and accredited with an A grade by NAAC.
