Established in 2010 (through the Aryabhatta Knowledge University Act 2008), Aryabhatta Knowledge University (AKU) is a public state university located at Chanakya National Law University Campus, Mithapur, Patna, Bihar, founded by the Government of Bihar. Named after the legendary Indian mathematician and astronomer Aryabhatta, the university operates with UGC recognition and approvals from AICTE, Medical Council of India (MCI), and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). Spread across 7.6 acres with modern Wi-Fi-enabled infrastructure, AKU oversees 114+ affiliated colleges across Bihar and offers 850+ comprehensive programs including B.Tech (Computer Science, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering), MBA, MCA, BBA, BCA, MBBS, BDS, B.Pharma, B.Arch, B.Sc.
