Aryavart International University (AIU), located at Tilthai, Dharmanagar, North Tripura, was established in 2023 under Act No. 03 of 2023 passed by the State Legislature of Tripura and is recognized by the UGC under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956. It is the first university in North Tripura, created to expand access to higher education in the region. The institution offers a wide range of programs including undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses in sciences, humanities, law, pharmacy, physiotherapy, paramedical studies, computer science, and management. Professional programs such as law and pharmacy are approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI) and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), ensuring national-level recognition. The campus is equipped with modern classrooms, advanced laboratories, a central library, moot court halls, hostels, sports facilities, and research hubs, providing a holistic academic environment.
