About
Assam Rajiv Gandhi University of Co-operative Management (ARGUCOM), located at Basic Tiniali, Gadaghar Nagar, Joysagar in Sivasagar District, Assam, is a state government university established in 2010. It is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956. ARGUCOM was founded as the first cooperative management university in India, with the vision of promoting education, training, and research in cooperative management and allied disciplines.
The university offers undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and doctoral programs in Cooperative Management, Business Administration, Law, Social Sciences, and allied fields. Its campus is equipped with modern classrooms, laboratories, a central library, computer centers, hostels, and sports facilities. Admissions Open 2026: Courses, Eligibility & Fees
Admissions at ARGUCOM are conducted through a mix of national-level entrance exams and merit-based selection. For MBA and PGDM programs, the university accepts scores from CAT, MAT, XAT, ATMA, and CMAT. Law programs admit students through CLAT/LSAT ranks or university-level entrance tests. Undergraduate programs in management and technology are merit-based, requiring 50–60% in qualifying exams, while Ph.D. admissions involve entrance tests, interviews, and research proposals.
