Auniati University, located at Kaliapani, Teok in Jorhat District, Assam, is a private university established in 2018. It is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956. The university was founded by the Auniati Satra, one of the oldest and most respected Vaishnavite monasteries of Assam, with the vision of promoting higher education rooted in cultural heritage, ethics, and modern academic excellence.

Popular programs include BA in Assamese, Sociology, Journalism & Mass Communication, MA in Political Science, Performing Arts, and Ph.D. in Economics. Admissions are merit-based, requiring 10+2 for UG programs, graduation for PG programs, and a master’s degree for doctoral studies.
