Ayush and Health Sciences University, Raipur, was established in 2008 by the Government of Chhattisgarh and is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). It is the only university in the state dedicated exclusively to medical, dental, nursing, pharmacy, physiotherapy, Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, and allied health sciences. The university affiliates more than 150 colleges across Chhattisgarh, offering MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, B.Sc Nursing, B.Pharm, MD/MS, MDS, M.Sc Nursing, and Ph.D programs. Admissions are conducted through NEET UG, NEET PG, NEET MDS, AIAPGET (Ayush PG), and state-level counseling. Eligibility requires 10+2 with PCB for UG programs, MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BHMS for PG programs, and a master’s degree for doctoral studies.
