Bagalkot University (formerly Sharnbasva University), established in 2023, is a state government university located at Mudhol Road, Jamkhandi, Bagalkot District, Karnataka. Established by the Government of Karnataka to promote higher education and research in North Karnataka, the university is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under Section 2(f) and Section 12(B).
