The Bhartiya Skill Development University (BSDU), Jaipur, founded in 2017, is India’s pioneering university dedicated exclusively to skill-focused education. Established by the Rajendra and Ursula Joshi Charitable Trust (RUJCT), BSDU is recognized by the Government of Rajasthan and operates under the Swiss Dual System of Skill Development, blending theoretical knowledge with hands-on industry training.
BSDU offers Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc), Master of Vocation (M.Voc), and Ph.D. programs in diverse fields such as Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence & Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Furniture Design & Manufacturing, Hotel Management, and Engineering Management. The hallmark of BSDU is its “One Student One Machine” approach, ensuring personalized practical training. Students also undergo industry internships with stipends, enhancing employability.
Located in Mahindra World City, Jaipur, the campus features modern labs, workshops, classrooms, seminar halls, hostels, and sports facilities. Bhartiya Skill Development University (BSDU), Jaipur, established in 2017, is India’s first skill-focused university, incorporated by the Government of Rajasthan. It is recognized by the UGC and its programs comply with AICTE, NSQF, SSC, and NOS standards. BSDU offers Certificate, Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc), Master of Vocation (M.Voc), B.Tech, BBA, BCA, MCA, Hotel Management, Furniture Design, and Ph.D. programs. Admissions for the 2026 academic session are open, with eligibility varying by program: Class XII for UG courses, graduation for PG, and national-level entrance exams (JEE Main, CUET, CAT/MAT/CMAT) for specific streams. The university follows a “One Student One Machine” learning model, ensuring hands-on training and industry exposure.

The BSDU campus in Jaipur, Rajasthan, spans modern academic blocks, skill labs, innovation centers, and industry-partnered workshops. Facilities include smart classrooms, computer labs, a central library, auditoriums, seminar halls, and dedicated labs for furniture design, robotics, and hotel management.
