Established in 1974, Bidhan Chandra Krishi Vishwavidyalaya (BCKV) is a premier state agricultural university located at Mohanpur, District Nadia, West Bengal. Recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and funded by the Government of West Bengal, the university was named after Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, the former Chief Minister of West Bengal.
