The Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani is a premier private university recognized as an Institute of Eminence by the Government of India. Founded in 1964, it evolved from the Birla College of Engineering (1946) under the vision of G.D. Birla. Admissions Open 2026: Courses, Eligibility & Fees

BITS Pilani offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in Engineering, Sciences, Pharmacy, Management, and Humanities. The flagship programs include B.E., B.Pharm, M.Sc., M.E., MBA, and Ph.D.. Admissions for the 2026 academic session are open, with entry primarily through the BITSAT exam for UG programs. For PG programs, GATE/GPAT/CAT scores are accepted depending on the specialization. Eligibility for UG courses requires Class XII with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology, with at least 75% aggregate marks.
