About Capital University

Capital University (CUS), located near the Power Department on Police Station Road in Jorethang, District South Sikkim, is a private university established in 2022 by the Government of Sikkim under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956. It was founded as a philanthropic initiative of the CCSE Foundation with the vision of creating a global, research-intensive institution that emphasizes interdisciplinary learning, innovative pedagogy, and pluralism.
