About
Central University of Rajasthan (CURAJ), located near Kishangarh in Ajmer district, is a premier higher education institution established in 2009 by an Act of Parliament (Act No. 25 of 2009). The university functions under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, and is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
CURAJ was founded with the vision of expanding access to quality higher education and promoting excellence in teaching, research, and innovation. The university offers a diverse range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs across disciplines including Science, Engineering, Humanities, Commerce, Management, Social Sciences, and Architecture.
The campus, spread over more than 500 acres, features state-of-the-art infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, a central library, and residential facilities for students and faculty. The Central University of Rajasthan (CURAJ), located in Bandar Sindri near Ajmer, was founded in 2009 and is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). It holds an NAAC A++ accreditation and consistently ranks in the NIRF 101–150 band overall and #29 in Pharmacy (2025). CURAJ offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs across 12 schools and 30 departments, covering engineering, sciences, humanities, commerce, and management. Admissions are primarily conducted through CUET (UG & PG), JEE Main for engineering, and GPAT for pharmacy. Eligibility varies by program, with merit lists published after entrance exam results. The admission process includes online applications, counseling, and document verification. Fees remain affordable compared to private institutions, with highlights such as flexible payment options and concessions for reserved categories.
