Chhattisgarh Kamdhenu Vishwavidyalaya, officially known as Dau Shri Vasudev Chandrakar Kamdhenu Vishwavidyalaya, is a state public university located at Anjora in Durg, Chhattisgarh. CKV was founded in 2012 under the Chhattisgarh Kamdhenu Vishwavidyalaya Act and is recognized by the UGC. It offers UG, PG, and doctoral programs in Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry, Dairy Technology, Fisheries Science, and allied disciplines. Popular courses include B.V.Sc & A.H., B.Tech Dairy Technology, and B.F.Sc. Admissions are conducted through NEET UG for veterinary programs, state-level entrance exams for dairy and fisheries, and ICAR AIEEA for PG and Ph.D. programs. Eligibility requires 10+2 with PCB for veterinary, PCM/PCB for dairy and fisheries, graduation with 50% marks for PG, and postgraduation with 55% marks for Ph.D.. Fees are affordable, with B.V.Sc & A.H. costing around ₹2–2.5 lakhs for the full course, and B.Tech Dairy Technology around ₹1.5–2 lakhs.
