Dayananda Sagar University (DSU), established in 2014, is a private university promoted by the Mahatma Gandhi Vidya Peetha Trust, located at Innovation Campus, Hosur Main Road, Kudlu Gate, Bengaluru, Karnataka, with an additional campus at Kumaraswamy Layout, Bengaluru. Founded in honor of late Sri Dayananda Sagar, a visionary philanthropist and educationist, the university is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under Section 2(f) and approved by AICTE, BCI, PCI, and NCTE. Dayananda Sagar University (DSU), Bangalore, was established in 2014 under the Karnataka State Act and is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and approved by the AICTE. It is part of the prestigious Dayananda Sagar Institutions (DSI), which has been shaping education in Karnataka for over five decades. DSU offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in Engineering, Management, Pharmacy, Commerce, Arts, Sciences, Law, and Design. Admissions are conducted through national and state-level entrance exams such as JEE Main, COMEDK, KCET, DSAT, GATE, CAT, MAT, KMAT, and PGCET, along with merit-based selection. Eligibility requires 10+2 with 45–50% marks for UG programs, graduation with 50% for PG programs, and a master’s degree for doctoral studies.
