Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology (DCRUST), Sonipat, established in 2006, is a leading state government university in Haryana. Named after the renowned social reformer Deenbandhu Sir Chhotu Ram, the university is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and approved by AICTE. Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology (DCRUST), Sonipat, was established in 2006 by the Government of Haryana and is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). It is a state public university named after the renowned freedom fighter and social reformer Sir Chhotu Ram. The university offers undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and doctoral programs in Engineering, Architecture, Management, Sciences, Humanities, and Education. Admissions are conducted through national and state-level entrance exams such as JEE Main, GATE, NATA, CAT, CMAT, and CUET UG/PG, along with merit-based selection. Eligibility requires 10+2 with PCM for engineering and architecture programs, graduation in relevant fields for PG programs, and a master’s degree for doctoral studies. Fee structures are affordable compared to private universities, with B.Tech programs costing around ₹60,000–₹80,000 per year and MBA programs between ₹70,000–₹1.2 lakh annually, making DCRUST accessible to students across Haryana and India.
