Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences & Research University (DPSRU) is India’s first pharmacy-focused university, established in 2008 and functional since 2015 in New Delhi. It is a state government institution, fully grant-in-aid, recognized under UGC Section 2(f) and Section 22, and accredited with NAAC Grade ‘A’. Ranked among the top pharmacy institutes in India by NIRF 2024, DPSRU is known for its specialized programs in pharmaceutical sciences and allied healthcare.

Admissions Open 2026: Courses, Eligibility & Fees
Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University (DPSRU), New Delhi, was established in 2015 by the Government of Delhi and is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). It is India’s first pharmacy-focused university, offering undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and doctoral programs in Pharmacy, Management, Public Health, Physiotherapy, and Allied Sciences. Admissions are conducted through CUET UG/PG, GPAT, NEET, CAT, MAT, and the university’s own entrance exams, depending on the program. Eligibility requires 10+2 with PCB for UG programs, graduation in relevant fields for PG programs, and a master’s degree for doctoral studies. Fee structures are affordable compared to private universities, with B.Pharm programs costing around ₹40,000–₹60,000 annually and M.Pharm programs between ₹50,000–₹80,000 per year, making DPSRU accessible to students across India.
