Delhi Sports University (DSU), established in 2020 by the Government of Delhi, is a state university located at the Ludlow Castle Sports Complex, Shamnath Marg, Civil Lines, Delhi. It is India’s first dedicated sports university, recognized by the UGC, with the mission of integrating world-class sports training and academics to nurture future athletes and sports professionals.
DSU offers undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and certificate programs in sports education, sports science, and sports management. The institution follows a customized sports-integrated curriculum, where student assessment is based on both academic and sporting performance. Facilities include advanced sports infrastructure, training grounds, modern classrooms, laboratories, and a resource-rich library, all designed to support holistic development. The university also provides hostel and recreational amenities, ensuring a supportive environment for student-athletes.
