Dharmsinh Desai University (DDU), Nadiad, was established in 1968 as Dharmsinh Desai Institute of Technology and later upgraded to a university in 2009. It is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and approved by the AICTE, PCI, and Dental Council of India (DCI). The university offers undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and doctoral programs in Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy, Dental Sciences, Commerce, and Management. Admissions are conducted through GUJCET, JEE Main, NEET (for dental programs), CAT/MAT (for MBA), and merit-based selection. Eligibility requires 10+2 with PCM/PCB for UG programs, graduation in relevant fields for PG programs, and a master’s degree for doctoral studies.
