Dhirubhai Ambani University was founded in 2001 as DA-IICT and later renamed DAU. It is a state private university recognized by the UGC and approved by AICTE. The university offers B.Tech, M.Tech, M.Sc, M.Des, and Ph.D. programs in ICT, Computer Science, AI, Electronics & Communication, and Design. Admissions are conducted through JEE Main or GUJCET (for B.Tech), GATE (for M.Tech), CEED (for M.Des), and GATE/NET (for Ph.D.). Eligibility requires 10+2 with PCM for UG programs, graduation in relevant fields for PG programs, and a master’s degree for doctoral studies. Fees are competitive, with B.Tech programs costing around ₹1.5–₹2 lakh annually and PG programs between ₹1–1.8 lakh per year.
