Dibrugarh University, Assam, established in 1965, is a premier government university located at Rajabheta, Dibrugarh. Dibrugarh University, Dibrugarh, was established in 1965 under the Dibrugarh University Act, enacted by the Assam Legislative Assembly. It is a state public university recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and accredited by NAAC. The university offers undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and doctoral programs in Arts, Science, Commerce, Engineering, Law, Education, and Management. Admissions are conducted through CUET UG/PG, state-level entrance exams, and national-level tests such as JEE Main, NEET, CAT, and MAT, depending on the program. Eligibility requires 10+2 for UG programs, graduation in relevant fields for PG programs, and a master’s degree for doctoral studies. Fee structures are affordable, with UG programs costing around ₹15,000–₹30,000 annually and PG programs between ₹20,000–₹40,000 per year, making Dibrugarh University accessible to students across Assam and Northeast India.
