Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University (BAOU), established in 1994, is a state public open university located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC), it was founded by the Government of Gujarat to provide inclusive and flexible higher education opportunities, especially for those who cannot pursue traditional, full-time programs.
