Established in 2019 by the Government of Maharashtra, HBSU is a UGC-recognized public university with NAAC ‘A’ accreditation. It offers a wide range of programs including B.Sc, B.Com, BBA, BA, BMS, M.Sc, M.Com, MA, MMS, PG Diplomas, and Ph.D. Admissions are primarily through the HBSU CET, followed by counselling sessions where students select their courses. Eligibility requires 10+2 with 45–50% marks for UG programs, graduation with 50% marks for PG programs, and postgraduation with 55% marks for Ph.D. Fees vary by program, with flagship courses like BSM (Sports Management) costing around ₹6.14 lakhs for the full program.
