Admissions Open 2026: Courses, Eligibility & Fees
RMLNLU was established in 2005 by the Government of Uttar Pradesh and is a government-funded autonomous law university. It is recognized by the UGC and approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI). The university offers BA LLB (Hons.), LLM, and Ph.D. programs. Admissions are conducted through the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) for UG and PG programs, while Ph.D. admissions are based on a university-level entrance exam followed by an interview. The BA LLB (Hons.) program has a total fee of ₹9.45 lakhs, while the LLM program costs around ₹1.25 lakhs.

The university is located in Ashiana Colony, Lucknow, with a 42-acre campus. Facilities include moot court halls, a central library with extensive legal resources, ICT-enabled classrooms, computer labs, hostels, sports grounds, auditoriums, and medical services.
