Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Rajasthan Ayurved University (DSRRAU), Jodhpur, established in 2003, is the first Ayurved University in Rajasthan and one of the leading institutions in India dedicated to Ayurvedic education and research. It is a state government university recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and approved by the Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM), offering specialized programs in Ayurveda, Homeopathy, and Unani systems of medicine.
The university provides undergraduate (BAMS, BHMS, BUMS), postgraduate (MD/MS in Ayurveda), diploma, and Ph.D. programs, along with certificate courses in allied health sciences. Its campus is equipped with modern classrooms, herbal gardens, advanced laboratories, a central library, hostels, sports facilities, and a teaching hospital that ensures extensive clinical exposure. Admissions Open 2026: Courses, Eligibility & Fees
DSRRAU was founded in 2003 under the Rajasthan Ayurved University Act and is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). It is affiliated with the Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM) and approved by the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India. The university offers BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery), BHMS (Homeopathy), BUMS (Unani), MD/MS (Ayurveda), Ph.D., and diploma programs. Admissions are conducted through NEET UG for BAMS/BHMS/BUMS, AIAPGET for MD/MS Ayurveda, and university-level entrance exams for Ph.D. programs. Eligibility requires 10+2 with PCB and 50% marks for UG programs, graduation in Ayurveda for PG, and postgraduation with 55% marks for Ph.D.. Fees are affordable, with BAMS programs costing around ₹1–1.5 lakhs for the full course.
