Admissions Open 2026: Courses, Eligibility & Fees
DSPMU Ranchi has a legacy of nearly a century, beginning as Ranchi College in 1926 before becoming a full-fledged university in 2017. It is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and has been accredited with NAAC ‘A’ grade. The university offers a wide range of programs including BA (Hons.), B.Sc (Hons.), BBA, B.Ed, MBA, MCA, M.Sc, MA, and Ph.D.. Admissions to undergraduate programs are conducted through the CUET UG, while postgraduate admissions are based on CUET PG or state/national-level entrance exams. Eligibility requires 10+2 with 50% marks for UG programs, graduation with 50% marks for PG programs, and postgraduation with 55% marks for Ph.D.. Fees are affordable, with the BA (Hons.) first-year fee around ₹2,835, making DSPMU accessible to students from diverse backgrounds.
