Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), established in 1960, is a premier government institute located on Law College Road, Pune, Maharashtra. Admissions Open 2026: Courses, Eligibility & Fees

FTII offers postgraduate diploma and certificate programs under its Film Wing and TV Wing, covering disciplines like Direction, Cinematography, Editing, Sound Recording, Screenwriting, and Acting. Admissions are conducted through the FTII Joint Entrance Test (JET), followed by orientation and interviews. Eligibility requires a bachelor’s degree in any discipline, with specific requirements for technical courses. The fee structure ranges from ₹50,000 to ₹2.65 lakhs, depending on the program, making it relatively affordable compared to international film schools.
