GNFAU, Anand, was set up by the Government of Gujarat in 2022 with affiliation and recognition from the UGC. The university focuses on postgraduate and doctoral programs in agricultural sciences, natural farming, and organic agriculture, along with diploma and certificate courses. Admissions are conducted through CUET PG, state-level entrance exams, and university-specific selection processes. Eligibility requires graduation in agriculture, life sciences, or related disciplines for PG programs, while Ph.D admissions require a master’s degree in agriculture or allied sciences. The admission process involves online application, entrance exam or merit list evaluation, counseling, and document verification. Fee highlights show that PG programs cost between ₹50,000–₹80,000 per year, while Ph.D programs range between ₹70,000–₹1,00,000 per year, making GNFAU affordable compared to other agricultural universities.
