Gujarat University of Transplantation Sciences (GUTS), established in 2015, is a state government university located within the IKDRC-ITS premises at Civil Hospital – Medicity Campus, Asarwa, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC), GUTS is India’s first university dedicated exclusively to transplantation sciences, medical education, and advanced healthcare research.
The university offers specialized postgraduate, super-specialty, and doctoral programs in organ transplantation, nephrology, urology, anesthesia, nursing, and allied health sciences. Gujarat University of Transplantation Sciences (GUTS), Ahmedabad, was established in 2015 by the Government of Gujarat and is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). It is a specialized medical university dedicated to organ transplantation, nephrology, urology, and allied health sciences. The university offers programs such as MBBS, MD/MS, M.Ch, DM, M.Sc Nursing, and Ph.D in medical sciences. Admissions are conducted through NEET UG for MBBS, NEET PG for MD/MS, and NEET SS for super-specialty programs. Eligibility requires 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology for MBBS, and MBBS/MD/MS degrees for postgraduate and super-specialty courses. The admission process involves national-level entrance exams, counseling, and document verification.
