Guru Jambheshwar University, Moradabad (Uttar Pradesh) is a newly established state public university, formally approved by the Uttar Pradesh Cabinet on 1 November 2023 and operational since 2025. It is recognized by the UGC under Section 2(f) & 12(B) of the UGC Act and accredited with a NAAC A+ grade (CGPA 3.38). The Governor of Uttar Pradesh serves as its Chancellor, while Prof. Sachin Maheshwari is the Vice-Chancellor. Located at Hardadpur, Moradabad, the university was set up as part of the state’s initiative to expand higher education in the Moradabad division, with an initial budget allocation of ?150 crore. It aims to provide a global learning environment with modern infrastructure, strong industry connections, and international collaborations. The university offers undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and doctoral programs across disciplines such as Science, Commerce, Law, Management, Arts, and Education. Admissions are conducted through merit and entrance examinations depending on the program. Its vision is to reimagine higher education in India, focusing on cutting-edge curriculum, world-class pedagogy, and global exposure.
