Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology (GJUST), Hisar, founded on 20 October 1995, is a premier state university in Haryana. Named after Guru Jambheshwar Ji Maharaj, a 15th-century saint and environmentalist, the university was established to promote studies and research in technology, pharmacy, environmental sciences, non-conventional energy, and management studies. The university is spread across 372 acres in Hisar and offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in Engineering, Science, Pharmacy, Management, Media Studies, and Environmental Studies. It is affiliated with UGC, accredited by NAAC, and approved by AICTE for technical courses.
