About Guru Nanak Dev University
Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU), located on G.T. Road in Amritsar, Punjab, is a public university established in 1969 to commemorate the 500th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. It is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and has been conferred Category-I University status by the UGC, making it the only university in Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, and Chandigarh with this distinction. GNDU is accredited by NAAC with an A++ grade and an exceptional CGPA of 3.85/4.00, one of the highest ratings awarded in India.
